That dedication to enriching the community begins right at the top. Meet our Vice President & Benefits Producer, Ronnie Karkowsky, CFP. Ronnie has been involved with the community for many years.
He began his journey by becoming involved and serving on the board for Bellaire Little League, a community-based, volunteer-powered organization that uses baseball to instill great values in kids.
But once his children aged out of little league, Ronnie sought a new way to give back. In that search, he found Evelyn's Park Conservancy.
Evelyn's Park is a park in the city of Bellaire, TX. Before opening 2017, it was formerly Teas Nursery which was the very first business to open in the city of Bellaire! It’s full of rich history and was specifically established to connect residents to their city, their surroundings, and to each other.
Though Evelyn’s Park is still growing, it hosts a number of events for the community including the Fall Music Festival which is a stand-out for Ronnie.
“The Fall Music Festival is my favorite event but watching the park mature and continue to grow has been tremendous."
It even has an on-site café, Betsy’s, for those who want to grab a bite while getting some fresh air in the park. The park is already an amazing outdoor activity venue for the community, but knowing that Ronnie is involved makes it that much more special!
